Reverend Troy Alan Bradley Sr. is a native of the DeLand/West Volusia area and is the fifth of six children born to Deacon William Sr., and the late Deaconess Eugenia Bradley. His Christian nurturing began at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church in Lake Helen, FL under the leadership of Reverend John McMillon.
He is married to Crystal Moore Bradley of DeLeon Springs, FL. They are the proud parents of two children, Monēt and Troy Jr. Monēt is a Doctor of Pharmacy graduate from Florida A & M University and Troy Jr. is currently attending in the Physical Therapy Program.
Pastor Bradley is a graduate of DeLand High School and the American Computer Institute of Daytona Beach, FL. He also received a Diploma of Practical Theology from the International Seminary in Plymouth, FL, and a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies from Higher Dimension Christian College.
He was ordained as a deacon under the leadership of Reverend Henry L. Bradley Jr. After answering his call to preach, he returned to St. Paul Missionary Baptist church in Lake Helen, FL under the tutelage of Reverend John McMillon where he remained until he was called to Pastor the Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church in DeLand.
In March 1998, Pastor Bradley came to Greater Union First Baptist Church as Interim Pastor, pledging to help them through the transition and task of calling a Pastor. After a year and much prayer, Pastor Bradley was called to Pastoral Leadership on Monday, April 19, 1999.
Pastor Bradley comes with a thematic focus of “Creating an Atmosphere of Love and Unity,” which he continues to teach by precept and example.
